• Photo Documentation: Your engine is checked in and thoroughly photographed for transparency.
• Failure Analysis: During teardown, we inspect the wear patterns to diagnose exactly why your engine failed, helping you prevent it from happening again.

• Cylinder Boring: Cylinders are precisely measured, bored, and chamfered specifically to match a brand-new set of WSM Platinum pistons.
• Ultrasonic Cleaning: Engine cases undergo a deep ultrasonic clean to remove all debris, oil, and scaling.
• Case Lapping: We lap the engine cases on our precision lapping table to ensure all mating surfaces are dead flat, preventing future leaks.

• The Crankshaft: We completely disassemble, rebuild, and true your OEM crankshaft using premium Japanese bearings.
  • Why this matters: This is not a lesser-quality aftermarket crankshaft. OEM steel is vastly superior, and aftermarket bearings don’t come close to the quality of the Japanese bearings we use. You simply cannot get a better crankshaft.
• Counterbalance Shaft: Rebuilt to the same rigorous standards using premium Japanese bearings and high-quality seals.
• New Components: We install a brand-new rotary welch plug and rotary shaft bearing, then inspect the rotary shaft for perfect trueness before installation.

• Sealant Cure Time: The bottom end is assembled with new seals. We allow the sealant a full 24 hours to achieve maximum hardness before testing.
• Rotary Seal Test: We pressure-test the rotary valve seals at 8 PSI per the factory manual—holding the test for an hour or longer to guarantee a perfect seal.
• Squish Clearance Setup: Once the bottom end passes, we assemble the top end and dial in the squish clearance to factory OEM specs (or tighter upon request).
• Final Full-Engine Pressure Test: With the engine fully assembled, we perform a final pressure test on the entire unit to ensure 100% seal integrity.
